SCREW TANK

This project was sparked by a documentary I watched about various military vehicles, and I found this style of drive very intriguing, along with the possibility of it being able to be used on so many different terrains. My version is a multi-source design synthesis taking cues from many different prototypes. Some tweaks have been made to make it more conducive to FDM manufacturing. The screws are a PLA body with TPU printed inserts to give it grip, but maintaining a rigid body across the length of the screw. It is powered by two motors, so no need for dual rate transmitter mixing to get it to turn. The main body or hull is watertight and large enough to be buoyant and run in the water without issue.
