This was another project for the Ferrari shop I work with. It’s the internal mechanism for an Aston Martin DB4 turn signal, originally made from Bakelite. After recreating the part in CAD, it is now produced using an ABS-like photopolymer resin, printed at 16K resolution for exceptional accuracy.

Because this is a small component with tight tolerances, the high resolution is critical. Parts like this are nearly impossible to find as reproductions or new old stock today, making it an ideal application for 3D printing.
